Bodi Posted October 15, 2019 Posted October 15, 2019 As a contrast to la Royale's inactiveness during the last months, the landlubbers of the Oleon empire were actively engaged in all sorts of construction tasks, for example this fort newly built at Crecopia. A young soldier is keeping watch on the top of the fort. The artillerymen are getting the guns ready to fire on any suspicious target. Here's a stair allowing the men to descend to lower level. Vive le Roi! Quote
Professor Thaum Posted October 15, 2019 Posted October 15, 2019 Yeees !! A very clever add-on to a coastal defense for sure. I like this angled walls and your technique for the small waves. Errr... the baseplate is angled too so is your... table ? Quote

Fraunces Posted October 15, 2019 Posted October 15, 2019 I like the stone work as well! You just missed some SNOT's at the rock and on the right side Quote
Khorne Posted October 15, 2019 Posted October 15, 2019 Neat build! I like the curved wall and the small tower containing the stairs. The sea looks really gentle and quite tropical, which is fitting for the context. The only thing I'm not really fond off are the random tiles on the sides. I prefer to see the SNOT's all horizontal, instead of diagonal and crooked as they are now. But that's only a minor nitpick. I really like the build overall. Quote
LM71Blackbird Posted October 15, 2019 Posted October 15, 2019 Cool build! I like the angled stone wall and the baseplate is especially well done. Quote
Bodi Posted October 16, 2019 Author Posted October 16, 2019 Professor Thaum, Ross Fisher, Fraunces, Khorne and LM71Blackbird, thank you for you comments, I'm glad you like this build. 19 hours ago, Professor Thaum said: angled walls and your technique for the small waves. Just hinge bricks for the walls and simple plates for the waves, no fancy tech here. 19 hours ago, Professor Thaum said: so is your... table ? Nope, it's a piece of paper with wooden pattern printed on it. 15 hours ago, Khorne said: he small tower containing the stairs. The small tower is a kind of tribute to the Green dragon castle, I bought it back in the 90's and still all the pieces, including that red roof piece used here. Quote
