aakos12 Posted September 24, 2019 Posted September 24, 2019 Hi, I've always liked those nice dioramas and scenes in the catalogues from the late 80's and early 90's. I was wondering if it's possible to find the original pictures, preferably in high resolution without the sets placed over them. So, for example, there's this catalogue: https://images.brickset.com/library/Catalogues/c90usm2.pdf and I'd like o have the photo on page 13 without the ads for the sets. Does any of you know if such a thing is available? Or is it maybe something I could purchase from TLG? Has any of you tried this before? Quote
leafan Posted September 25, 2019 Posted September 25, 2019 Beautiful aren't they. The hours of childhood imagination projected into these pictures is staggering. Sorry I can't help you but I just wanted to say that I love those too. Quote
aakos12 Posted September 25, 2019 Author Posted September 25, 2019 Yeah, I think there's a demand for obvious reasons Quote
Gomek Posted September 25, 2019 Posted September 25, 2019 It would be great to get a coffee table book of these. The only thing I'm thinking is isolating some of these shots and doing an image search to see if higher res ones are available. I have most of these catalogs but I don't think the scans would be worth the time. Quote
