Led ZePPelin Posted May 2, 2008 Posted May 2, 2008 When I bought lego castle chess, (852001) it was missing 2 pieces: one easily replaceable trans orange flame, and a seemingly harder to replace black, cylindrical piece that holds the flame on the rook. I complained to LEGO straight away and received a trans orange flame and 2x1 grey clip piece. Very odd, so I complained again, and got a black 1x1 cylinder and a dark red 1x1 cylinder. Anyway, just wondering if anyone knew what this piece was called? It'd help a great deal, thanks! Quote
Axle Posted May 2, 2008 Posted May 2, 2008 I'm not sure of the name, but I know the piece you're talking about. Is it the piece like a lightsaber handel in black? Quote

Don't the building instruction include an overview of the parts used? If so, you can find the exact part number LEGO use (at least, currently use, because they have an annoying tendency to change them every once in a while) and tell them that next time you contact them about a missing part. What I've done on the past when I had a piece missing from a set is send them a letter with a copy of the page in the instruction book where the missing part was used, with the part in question circled. Cheers, Ralph Quote
