I have been working on this 6 wide 0-6-0 for quite some time to get everything to work out just right. The weight and balance on this was a bit tricky. Incorporating a motor into the locomotive while still maintaining the authentic look took some time as well. This uses a Sbrick and 9V battery adapter which is located inside the tender. This operates extremely well on standard R40 radius curves while pulling at least 9 pieces of rolling stock.

Lots of great little details in that build and a nice mix of old and new parts.

Your custom connecting rods make a world of difference, thanks for providing this service to the Lego train community!

I really like this ... The way you did the pilot reall stood out to me ... Of course those custom rods really dress up any loco.

The engine drivers are another part I really enjoy on this.  But there is a ton of great detail in this lil loco well done

You are too kind, but you are welcome.

The the right lettering in the form of stickers are just as important (if not more so) for adding pop to a train MOC. Seeing your NP lettered so cleanly is really sharp.

Meanwhile, I keep looking at the steps on the front of the running boards, using the pair of neck brackets is so eloquent.

Excellent little 0-6-0 you got there, Freezingvettes.  The 6-wide building techniques definitely suit this type of locomotive, since most 0-6-0s were used as switchers or dockyards, this build scales well with larger 8 and 10-wide "mainline" locomotives that a lot of people build.  I also like the rather interesting part choices for the smokestack, second pressure dome & the rear dome with the piece you used for the pressure relief valve/whistle.  All in all a good, solid build for a commonly-used but rather unappreciated class of locomotives.
