Does anyone know if there is a specific lego (or other) part to label pneumatic hoses - making hoses in a complex set-up more easy to track?

I've seen them on things like the quanix PBF and other similar MOCs, but not been able to track them down.

Specific/original lego labels are not available, but You can search for some industrial labeling systems for wires or similar.

You can also ask question under that video, I think.

The method I've commonly seen in official models (notably 8868) is to feed hoses through axle holes and/or fix them to beams using rigid hose sectons, fixing the path and thus preventing the hoses from being confused with each other.

alternatively use colour - blue for feed lines, black for extend and grey for retract for example. I regularly use clear, red, yellow, blue, black and grey hose for this purpose. Aftermarket silicone hose is cheap and comes in a big range of colours.

Otherwise you could use numbered tiles to track them and for building, there's always the folded tape with written label on it until you're ready to plug it into the final spigot.

This is something I often think would be great for pneumatic sets. You can get numbered sleeves that fit onto electrical wires (I've used them quite a bit in my job) and I think they would be much better than having colour coded pipes, which looks unrealistic and still leaves room for confusion in complex setups. The cheapest way to do it could be just to include a bunch of coloured/numbered strips as part of the sticker sheet.
