ReZourceman Posted April 30, 2008 Posted April 30, 2008 Just saw a Speed Racer display and to my suprise/joy they had the sets! I bought 8158 the one with Speed Racer and Snake Oiler/the orange one.

Oh, and the Speed Racer set boxes are really small compared to, say the Castle boxes. Seems the Eco-maniacs have complained. TK

With like the games on pre-order, hot wheels toys, books etc. The sets were there for me and not where they normally put the lego. Definitely no new Indy sets for me though! :( Definitely want to get some soon as I see them....provided they aren't a massive rip off. \Just built the first car - theres some great new elements.

Brainbox Posted May 4, 2008 Posted May 4, 2008 Went in my Woolies the other day. They had Jungle Duel, Speed Racer/Snake Oiler and Cruncher Block. It's not a brilliant Woolies, so I wasn't expecting a lot. I was pleasantly surprised. In fact, it does seem to have been getting better these last couple of years. Then today, I called into a different Woolies, and they had Jungle Duel, Speed Racer/Snake Oiler, Cruncher Block and River Chase. The round the corner in a section completely unrelated to Lego (or anything for that fact) was Jungle Cutter.
LegoLyons Posted May 5, 2008 Posted May 5, 2008 Went into Wolloies today, they had 2 Speed Racer sets, (which looked cool!) but none of the NEW Indy sets, they had 2 of the older ones though.

There were price listings for Speed Racer/Snake Oiler and Racer X/Taejo Togokhan, but both were listed as 'Temporarily out of stock'. They were both down to £9.72 btw.
