The Kings Port Advertiser reported the capture of the Valiant Phoenix, but it failed to tell what happened to her crew. Only Amelia Rosen lived to tell the tale of the assault, but not for long.

She had been found by a fisherman out of Lavalette, and was brought as quickly as possible to the local surgeon. He treated what wounds he could, but the surgeon knew Amelia was beyond his ability to save. All he could do is make her comfortable in her last hours, give her as much pain medication as he could, and move her to his private office so she could die in peace.

The garrison commander of Fort Henri came to hear Amelia's testament of the attack. He listened as she told in painful detail how the pirate crews decimated her friends. The descriptions of the ships, and the tactics used, suggested the pirates were under the command of Zublius Von Wreck.

Later a priest of Hades came with an offer to help ease her way into the next world. Amelia declined, and he left without rancor.

Amelia began to pray, "Triuri, iosal . . ." Then she was gone.

Nice build and nice writing. The furniture in particular is quite well done! Sorry for the loss of your ship and characters, may that scourge of the sea be hanged soon!

Only one little suggestion: I don't know if the part exists in LDD, but in my opinion the bandage from CMF series 15 looks better than the turban, but this is only a minor detail
