ks6349 Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 (edited) I got Assembly Square because of the deal and I think it is really worth by price per piece ($0.05 per piece) However, on day one I don't really like the original design of it so much. I can find there are some MOCs of this set on the web, but the modification is usually not too much. Would anyone advise a huge MOC of this set while making use most of the pieces with building instruction? Edited July 24, 2019 by ks6349 Quote

Kevin Flemming Posted July 25, 2019 Posted July 25, 2019 Be warned, there are a lot of people saying this isn't possible to complete without lots of extra parts. The creator claims it can be done "with no extra pieces" but that is clearly not the case. They also suggest building with Lepin, many of the sections are awkward to connect and overall it seems like a waste of time. Quote

True, as I first knew that their instructions need to be paid, I've given it up totally, I'd rather save that $14 bucks instruction fee for a new set of Lego. And enjoy the time of brainstorming and creating my own MOC Quote

I also had a few problems with some areas (mainly the colour-blocking of the medium nougat building, and the somewhat unfinished nature of the roofs of the middle and right-hand buildings), and so made a series of modifications instead. For $14 dollars I would rather get a beautiful garbage truck. 60220 Edited July 29, 2019 by ks6349 Quote
