The Rancor Posted April 29, 2008 Posted April 29, 2008 Does anyone know how to take photos that are less than 100kb. I've already taken some to put on the website but they take up amounts like 1,789kb. I really want to post reviews and pictures (sometimes to help) in the forums and this is really annyoing that I can't post pictures becuase they are too detailed. Can anyone provide advice please? SlyOwl Posted April 29, 2008 Posted April 29, 2008 Try resizing them to around 800x600, which is around 60k. If you're desperate, Paint will do, but other programs, such as IrfanView and image editing programs will work better Quote

BerndDasBrot Posted April 29, 2008 Posted April 29, 2008 For many files I use software like the "Image Resizer" from the "microsoft power toys". just right-click your images and resize them without opening them in an other application. Quote
Brickmaster Posted April 30, 2008 Posted April 30, 2008 You may also want to look at the settings of your camera, and see if you can set the pictures you take to a smaller frame size. Mine was automatically set at the highest possible when I first started taking pictures, so I had huge files, but eventually I brightened up and took a look at the settings. Now I also use Irfanview, an absolutely great batch conversion program. Quote
