ks6349 Posted July 8, 2019 Posted July 8, 2019 (edited) I don't mean Lepin, where you can easily distinguish, I would like to know if there is any case or hearing about 1:1 fake Lego? I know that there isn't in my country, but I don't know about EU, there are a lot of EU countries and people and is there any 1:1 fake Lego sold or manufactured there? (Some thieves used my thread to misunderstand people, so I am here to edit to clarify to make it more clear and avoid thieves) Edited August 29, 2019 by ks6349 clarifying to avoid misunderstanding by thieves Quote
MAB Posted July 8, 2019 Posted July 8, 2019 It depends what you mean. There are fake minifigures, copied from the LEGO ones although you can spot these if you look at the neck for the LEGO logo. The fakes do not have the logos. I have never seen fake bricks in the sense of copying the part exactly, including the LEGO logo, but then how would you tell? If they get the shape and colour right, and copy the LEGO logo, then it would not be distinguishable from the real thing. Quote
Collector245 Posted July 8, 2019 Posted July 8, 2019 Hi I just want to say that this problem is also in the very early sets. (I collect them) I have also heard about a lot of faked modern LEGO. It would help if I knew what the set was, then I might be able to help. Best Regards, William Quote

Collector245 Posted July 10, 2019 Posted July 10, 2019 Hi My guess would be that this is not a fake. People that fake the sets usually try and fake the rarest sets possible so they can make the most money off of it. I do not know if your set is fake or not but I would still be careful when buying because sadly there are a lot of fakes out there. Best of luck William Quote
Roadmonkeytj Posted July 24, 2019 Posted July 24, 2019 Can I ask this ... If the set looks to be lego with correct looking lego marks then are you concerned about the resale value then or just owning "the set" If all the marks look right and the price is good then I would buy it to add to my collection.
