I'm really digging the long-hooded shaping, color scheme, and ornamentation on this latest build of yours, as it has the air of a Gatsby-Era automobile... Quote
drclark Posted July 5, 2019 Posted July 5, 2019 Nice use of a single purpose piece. How strong is the connection point between the hull and the rest of the structure. Did you do anything with the underside (or topside) of the hull.. is it filled in or did you use that space to incorporate a cargo compartment to carry a rover/buggy or something? Great little ship - drc Quote
mrcp6d Posted July 10, 2019 Posted July 10, 2019 Great use of one of the harder pieces to use as not intended! Also, sweet color scheme; we definitely don't see much tan in space vehicles. Quote
neonic Posted July 10, 2019 Posted July 10, 2019 Indeed great use of parts with that boat piece and others parts. Like the whole thing with those 'golden' pieces. Looks great with the beige and red pieces. Also the 'bat' shape piece of the wing looks good on it. Quote
Littleworlds Posted July 10, 2019 Posted July 10, 2019 This looks so good. Very flash gordon with its lines and colour scheme. Especially the gold accents give it such a classy, retro look. Excellent work! And its actually hard to spot there is a boat hull involved, despite being literally very "up front". Quote

Great little ship - drc the connection is made simply on the studs of the hull. No pictures underside, but yes there is a little trapdoor Thanks all Quote
Legostein Posted July 11, 2019 Posted July 11, 2019 Hello! A very original and unconventional part use! I like it when this works and turns out really well. In particular, it's quite smooth how the large golden weapon pieces slide between the fins of the boat hull. Cheers, Chris Quote
Professor Thaum Posted July 20, 2019 Posted July 20, 2019 That's a good idea to reuse the hull piece ! that's a cool starship with a great colour scheme Quote
