Hi,

this is the first time I start a topic and this is also my first moc.

I'm usually more active in technic sub forum but I thought it would be easier to start with a creator moc. Less parts involved and probably easier to create 3D model.

So here's how it turned out :

I'm planning to create a 3D model of kart and also provide full instructions. I'm still learning to use ldd but already succeded building the main model (buggy) in ldd (minus one missing part) as well as using studio 2.0.

Realistic renderer in studio is awesome but also quite cpu heavy. It took quite half an hour to get that result on my i5 with discrete intel hd4000.

I'm really looking forward for any remark regarding that build so please comment if you can.

Thanks.

Hi, I made some minor changes in order to improving the overall design :

- bigger front and back bumper.
- more realistic front which also allowed me to bring pedals one stud more on the front of the kart.
- slight changes on the seat.

I also finished building model in studio. I'm still planning to release full instructions and io file if anyone is interested.

BTW, the kart make use of almost all the parts and also use some of the spare parts even if those are not mandatory (mainly used to add some non functionnal parts to the fake engine.

I didn't took real photos this time as my setup is not good enough but here's some studio renders.

31087-4 Front

31087-4 Back

31087-4 Right

31087-4 Alt

Strangely, the model seems to hover when rendered with pov-ray but not when using photorealistic. Really weird.

Thanks
