yellost Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 (edited) I don't know if it should be in here or in the Theatre but here is my version of the Ultimate Green Goblin (complete with reference pic ) I had to wait until I got my Dementor to finish it... here it is : and the reference pic : it's made from Jango Fett's purple legs (they're a bit too blue on the photo...), a Geonosian torso , the head from the statue of the Orient Expedition Castle and the cape and cowl of the Dementor. although it's a bit small compared to the original, I think it captures quite well the essence of the caracter. EDIT : here's a scan of the page I really used for reference (the other one comes from the Marvel website and is too green ) : Edited April 27, 2008 by yellost Quote
LegoLyons Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 It looks cool, but not really very green, and he is the green goblin. The look is very much like the reference picture, so good job! Quote
Asuka Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 A very good and fitting combination, beside that oblivious color issue.... hmm, perhaps Killer Croc´s torso from the Batman theme could work for that.... but of course, that fine OE head wouldn´t work so good with it.... Quote
yellost Posted April 27, 2008 Author Posted April 27, 2008 well, actually, in his first apparition in the comic (the ultimate version, that is) he isn't green. Only his head is. The ref pic I found must have been photoshoped in some way. The real reference I used is in my comic but I couldn't find a good image. So here is a small scan of the page : Well, ok, he still isn't grey either... thx for the comms Quote
Asuka Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 Well, with that second picture I´ve to say that your version of the (Green) Goblin just looks perfect.... I´m no Goblin expert at all, so perhaps it´s just his costume which takes on the 'green' part...? Quote
JimBee Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 now thats cool! even though it doesnt really look like the green goblin, it still is scary! Quote
