BrickWild Posted June 6, 2019 Posted June 6, 2019 In November of 2016, I went to Western Australia by train on the famous Indian Pacific which is operated by Great Southern Rail. And I've decided to build a few of its rolling stock. Here, these are the Lounge Cars: For those running 8-Wide GSR carriages who haven't come up with a bogie design: More to come soon! Quote
LEGO Train 12 Volts Posted June 6, 2019 Posted June 6, 2019 It would be better to use bogies with metal axles and less frictionThe wagon is very attractive! Quote
Matt Dawson Posted June 6, 2019 Posted June 6, 2019 Those bogies could probably suit some US passenger coaches as well... Quote
sed6 Posted June 7, 2019 Posted June 7, 2019 This is fantastic! Are the door handles roller skates? Quote
Roadmonkeytj Posted June 7, 2019 Posted June 7, 2019 I really like the design but can only echo the wheel friction concern. Does the prototype run small wheels or were you more looking for a way to keep the carriage low? Would you be able to tuck some larger wheels in it Quote
