Hello my name is Daniel and I am pleased to have join this place with such talented Lego builders. I have been lurking around for a while and thought it was time to finally sign up.

I spent countless hours of my childhood building with Lego and loved it. At first I didn't have a favourite theme I built anything I could come by but as I grew older I focused more and more on Technic. I remember the 8880 super car was the set I wanted the most but unfortunately never got.

At some point during my teens I switched to plastic scale modeling and didn't touch Lego for many years. I attended a class at university which involved Lego Mindstorms and that was the first reminder how much fun Lego was. When I was about to complete my university studies I discovered the release of the 8070 super car and thought I got to have it since I never got the 8880 super car. I soon after bought it as a present to myself for completing my studies. It was great fun building the super car but unfortunately my Lego comeback didn't last very long and I went back to plastic scale modeling.

A year ago or so I discovered GBC videos on Youtube and found it very fascinating. I have been thinking for a while now it would be fun to build my own modules. Right now I only have the parts from the 8070 super car but I hope it will be enough to build something. I recently ordered the Technic Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 and some GBC balls. Hopefully I can come up with something and show you guys.
