Thedarkmaster2 Posted June 3, 2019 Posted June 3, 2019 (edited) This Blacktron M.O.C. Is really well done the wide pieces, That windshield piece. The use of printing and not stickers. The Multiple engines, that steering wheel thing on the side of the wing as decoration. All of it comes together into a stellar MOC Edited June 3, 2019 by Thedarkmaster2 Quote

All of it comes together into a stellar MOC I completely agree, very smooth and sleek. A great build and a good combination of newer and classic pieces. Quote
CP5670 Posted June 4, 2019 Author Posted June 4, 2019 Thanks! I used some printed bricks from the old Space Police sets, and tried to roughly match the shape of the old Mission Commander set but at a smaller scale. Quote
rodiziorobs Posted June 5, 2019 Posted June 5, 2019 The seam between the wing and the body is really well integrated, and the striped colors across the body work really well; with any other color scheme it might look garish but the blue and black just...works. Also, all the little touches of trans-red are nice, very good work, thanks for sharing! Quote
TheL390Man Posted June 5, 2019 Posted June 5, 2019 Smooth but detailed - I Iike it! I especially love the triangular section on the top Quote
Digger of Bricks Posted June 5, 2019 Posted June 5, 2019 My favorite little detail is the addition of that Black "Nexo" shield at the forefront of the cockpit, giving a little bit of an edge to that otherwise blunt canopy. Quote
CP5670 Posted June 6, 2019 Author Posted June 6, 2019 I actually wanted to make that whole section trans-red, so the light shines through, but some of the pieces don't exist in that color. Quote
Laura Beinbrech Posted June 9, 2019 Posted June 9, 2019 Excellent work! It's rare enough to see mocs based around the first generation of the Space Police as it is, let alone one of this quality. My only extremely minor beef is the apparent lack of slots for the SP-1 jail modules for hauling criminals, but like I said, it's extremely minor. Everything else about this build it top-notch! Quote
CP5670 Posted June 11, 2019 Author Posted June 11, 2019 Good point, I love those SP1 jail cells (space lock-ups) but this model was a bit too small and cramped for it. I think they work better when they are inside the ship somewhere (like 6986), or else the ship looks incomplete when the lock-up is removed. Quote
sander1992 Posted June 12, 2019 Posted June 12, 2019 That is a great SP1 ship. I love the bulky look and nice use of the old panels. Quote
