FurnaceFox Posted May 21, 2019 Posted May 21, 2019 (edited) I thought it was from the Castle theme, but perhaps it is from the Pirates theme? Haven't had any luck finding it on Bricklink, but probably because I can't get the search results narrowed down enough. Edited May 22, 2019 by FurnaceFox Quote
FurnaceFox Posted May 21, 2019 Author Posted May 21, 2019 Ok, after considerable time searching, I finally got lucky... The torso appears to be from the Series 4 Viking minifigure. I was thinking it might be an official pre-assembled minifigure, but the torso alone shows that it is not. Quote
deraven Posted May 22, 2019 Posted May 22, 2019 The legs are from the Series 17 Gladiator. Not sure about the face off-hand, and of course that's a Pirate bandana he's wearing. Quote
makoy Posted May 22, 2019 Posted May 22, 2019 The face is from S17 "Secret Character" a.k.a Highwayman Quote
FurnaceFox Posted May 22, 2019 Author Posted May 22, 2019 Awesome, thank you! I was a little alarmed to learn that the legs had a simple loin cloth. Here I was thinking it was yellow trousers with some sort of tan sash worn around the waist. Quote
MAB Posted June 6, 2019 Posted June 6, 2019 It certainly is a bit mix and match. Wearing chain mail as armour to protect the chest but just wearing a loin-cloth is probably not a very smart idea. Similarly, the fur jacket on the torso suggests that it is cold, but the loin-cloth that it is hot. They are decent parts for making other historical figures though. I use the torso for Rohan soldiers for LOTR, with no yellow print on it you can replace the arms with brown and hands with flesh. Quote
