GiantAmbushBeetle Posted May 16, 2019 Posted May 16, 2019 (edited) Hey guys, may present to you my newest addition to the LEGO mining site! This is a minifig-sized 350 ton mining shovel, those are typically used to load blasted rock into big trucks. This machine is somewhat similar to the mining excavator I posted a few months ago, but this one is even larger and has a completely different shovel configuration, for different applications. It also features a lot more SNOT-work. I hope you like it! Edited May 16, 2019 by GiantAmbushBeetle Quote
koalayummies Posted May 17, 2019 Posted May 17, 2019 Brilliant! Hyper-realistic detail all over; it looks so great. The articulation, the engine, railings and that shovel are beautiful. Fantastic work. Quote
LegoModularFan Posted May 17, 2019 Posted May 17, 2019 I agree with @koalayummies, looks so realistic! Do you have a Flickr and Instagram accounts by the way? If you don’t, it would be great if you opened one, there’s a huge LEGO community on both of these platforms! Keep up the great work! Quote
LEGO Train 12 Volts Posted May 18, 2019 Posted May 18, 2019 What I like about your bulldozers is the scale ratio: it's perfect for the standard lego city ...great work! Quote

I love to see MOCs that are just the right scale for minifigures whilst also being big enough to include all those little details! I especially love the SNOT work on the shovel! Quote

Thank you all for your kind comments, I really appreciate them! There is more to come, I plan to build a strip shovel somewhere in the future, minifg sized of course. I also have a Flickr account, but its kind of messy and not very orderly: https://www.flickr.com/people/148744693@N04/ Quote
