42082 my first Lego set

Hi Guys,

This is my first time in this forum , 

I'm in japan , and I'm very lucky bought 42082 about 18000 yen (160$),

Rough terrain crane is very big and impressive to me , but in action I like model B.

So , what will you do next after model A, B ? Can give me some idea , Jeep, Mining truck ...

For me, 42082 also became the first lego technic set. And I also doubted what to do after assembling the main model. Due to the scale of the wheels - welcome to the "world of wheel loaders"  - I chose this option.

I think there will be a problem with the truck - I did not find a suitable model for such a scale of wheels and that there were 4 of them.

I can't imagine a novice, who is able to build a big and complex machine at the first attempt. You had better buy smaller wheels and build some small or medium sized model.

I will highly recommend building something from a photo sequence. It's a lot more fun than the overly simplified "one brick per step" Lego instructions.

I really wish Lego was making "difficult" instructions so that the builder would have to think a lot harder in each step. Over time Lego have simplified the instructions to the point that following them has now become boring.

I think that despite your first posting you can have creativity and experience to build something very special. One thing is first post and another is s first build. I think you can make great telehandler from 42082 parts.

Yeah, I build a wheel loader follow Nico71,

Just take video for share and keep memo, I have only one set 42082 , can not keep all model A, B, C  :(

Difficult question, Model A is huge, use all part , but slow. Model B is asymmetric but fun in play.

Model C look muscle but weak :) .That is my opinion.

42082 is on of the best sets for rebuilding - huge amount of parts to built :)

I'm Vietnam , last month I have business trip to Japan, then I check Amazon and see set 42082 was sales off , I get it immediately .

The box is oversize and I must re-pack it again to bring it to flight to VN.
