Is this speciesism? :pir-oh3: a true pirate knows not to judge a man by the yellow of their skin, their gender or sexuality, or whether or not they're a Fabuland figure!

(Also what does RVS mean?)

Pretty sure I am a human, just like everyone else. Hello, fellow humans, how do you do? What is this Fanuland you speak of?

Louisa, just out of curiosity, how did you randomly determine who to vote for?

Explain! Dost thou mean you don't want to vote for Alexander, though he has not yet appeared? Perhaps thou and he be soldiers together?

I just re-looked at the rules, thinking they were mostly standard. It's a little unclear if people who do not post will be keelhauled, but I assumed if a crewmember does not post, they get a strike the next day and if they continue, our captain would toss them into the sea. For me, why waste a vote if he never confirmed and possibly would be keelhauled/mod-killed. In the stories I've read before, people have been stuck going into the days when they vote for quiet people.

Seems a bit suspicious that we have a fellow who has yet to show himself.  Is there not a Pinkerton on the roll call?  Where might he be.  Seems he could be one of those imperials to afeared to show his face.

Alexander “The Anchor” Pinkerton

(unless I missed something and we arent supposed to vote for him)

Avast ye, why must random voting be unavoidable?

Fair enough. It is a rather magnificent beak.

Well, someone had to cast the first vote, Triggs. I’d consider holding off ones vote to be somewhat scummy. What say you on the position of random voting day one?

 Vote: Alexander Pinkerton

He’s had over 24 hours to post. This is a wake up vote. Besides Alexander, I want Patrick Triggs to speak up on my question towards him.

Well I be feelin a day one lynch what say all you?

Day one lynch/no lynch is always a messy situation. In the short run it doesn't appear to help us at all. But in the long run when we know the allegiances of more players things said and votes cast on Day One become more crucial. I'm slightly leaning towards a lynch. Purely because it's always interesting to see which players were pushing for the lynch and which players were more reserved.

Random voting isn’t helpful, methinks. I never like making anyone walk the plank this early.

That's like saying being tired when you wake up in the morning isn't helpful.

Nah!  Voting is not compulsory, which suggest it is actually avoidable.

Do you have a reason for voting for Barty specifically?

These votes seem like wasted votes because he'll be walking the plank anyway if the bilge rat doesn't show up soon.

I think the point was that Remy hadn't put out a vote.

As this also caught my attention, me will Vote: Remy Fontaine

Day one voting isn't compulsory, but me thinks it worth it to helps us find the Imperial scum.

He of the painted face be trying to hide something as far as I can see.

A vote for you, so you jump in to throw a vote elsewhere immediately after?  Maybe it’s a coincidence, maybe it’s Imperial scum.  I’m willing to take that chance.

I think we’ll all be better off if we consider it compulsory.  At the very least, we’ll be able to separate the true seamen from the bilgewater.  I’m hoping we have a lot of seamen on this ship.

Argg! Why do you even mention our dear lost friend (or traitor) if you don't end up voting for him? Any expl-o-nation as to why you cast a vote on Barty?

Avast! Arr ye saying being tired when you wake up IS helpful?

Me gets more done when I’m not tired. And that’s why I doon’t sleep much - can’t be tired when you wake up if you arrn’t ever gone to sleep, there’s nothing to wake up from, since being tired comes from waking up, if that be making sense.

Truly though, I prefer to let the machinations of at least one night take place before the castin of votes and decisionmaking and such - it’s far too likely we vote out a good and true pirate, especially in a limited crew like this, and everyone talks aboot ‘analyzing reactions’ and such boot I can’t be saying I’ve seen too much from the first day be helpful all later on and like in me uhh... previous occupations before coming aboard this fine vessel.
