brickvon Posted February 4, 2019 Posted February 4, 2019 (edited) I've been lurking around on these LEGO forums for a few years now and I thought I should probably start doing some LEGO reviews of some older sets which do not have speed-build/review videos on YouTube. I just made my first videos, its link is just below. It's a little rough but I'd like to know what you guys think before I make the next few. Thank you and have a good day! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BCryB0uilO4 Edited February 4, 2019 by brickvon Quote

Thank you for your feedback. I will check out the reviewers academy although it does seem more photograph orientated Quote

Saint_Miroku Posted February 6, 2019 Posted February 6, 2019 Welcome to Eurobricks! Your review video was very good, if I had one criticism, it would be that the pace of your speech was a bit inconsistent (there were a few kind of notable pauses), but other than that it was great, the editing was very good and the speed build was very well done (I understand that those can be very difficult to do, but you pulled it off flawlessly). I'm really looking forward to seeing your next set review! Quote

I'm still trying to work out the speaking style, I don't want it to sound scripted but I also want there to be some sort of structure to what I say. Here is the latest video do you reckon there is some improvement in my pace of speech? Quote
