mccoyed Posted January 22, 2019 Posted January 22, 2019 The cockpit is great. However, I think your figs are a little to recognizably not Star Wars (except the Mon Cal, obv). You should think about kit-bashing your figs. Quote
Professor Thaum Posted January 22, 2019 Author Posted January 22, 2019 This fig has a " star wars " outfit. See the presentation in the MG intro thread But here it is with its mining outfit Quote
pombe Posted January 22, 2019 Posted January 22, 2019 Great cockpit design! I'm working on one myself to do the whole Millenium Falcon cockpit hyperspace scene, also. I'm curious how you did the space and hyperspace effects. Quote

I searched a space sky pics then a star wars hyperspace pics on google, I printed them and pasted them on the windscreen... a work of art ! Quote
goatman461 Posted January 23, 2019 Posted January 23, 2019 I agree that it’s a very well designed cockpit behind some somewhat distracting non-SW parts. I’m all for using non-SW parts, and I think it’s fun to mix and match, but its always nice when they blend in well. It still annoys me when kids tell me my Jedha build is Ninjago because of the “partisan” minifigures. Hopefully my Nemoidians with TMNT torsos don’t attract the same attention Quote
Merc4Hire Posted January 23, 2019 Posted January 23, 2019 I'm also a fan of the cockpit build, compact yet still looks very spacious. The minifigures actually made me think of the SW Resistance racer pilot outfits so I got pretty used to them throughout the post. Quote
mccoyed Posted January 31, 2019 Posted January 31, 2019 My thing with the figs is that you've got an unchanged Galaxy Squad fig (the robot) and an unchanged Red Hood fig. Like... it's just distracting. Consider it a nitpick though. Not everybody likes to take apart figs because it can risk breaking them. Quote
Professor Thaum Posted February 1, 2019 Author Posted February 1, 2019 Director Krakoo kaas only use the red dome and the shoulder wear of the official red hood... The cape and outfit are star wars parts... even if the red cape of an imperial guard and the original red hood one are almost the same. A slight difference however. and for Raint But you will probably see both figs (and the droid) with numerous different outfits Quote
