swijak Posted January 17, 2019 Posted January 17, 2019 Valerie Roche, one of the creators of the awesome Lego Ideas Saturn V appears to have a new project submitted. I found this by accident today and wanted to make sure fans of Lego space projects got support it; From the Ideas description: This collaborative project was created by “Saturn V Lego set” co-designer Valerie Roche (Whatsuptoday) and her “SpaceX – The Ultimate Collection” Co-Designer Matthew Nolan, along with fellow Lego fan designer Mark Nolan. It looks fantastic! Check it out! https://ideas.lego.com/projects/5199f8dc-34ad-492a-91e2-0008c8e37f81 Check it out!!! Quote

magicrulo90 Posted February 2, 2019 Posted February 2, 2019 I think it's much more impressive in silver :) Would it have interior? Or is it similar to apollo? Quote
matthewnolan Posted February 2, 2019 Posted February 2, 2019 Agreed! There's interior for fuel tanks and engine infrastructure, plus a crew area of course. ;) Quote
magicrulo90 Posted February 2, 2019 Posted February 2, 2019 Cool! I hope to see this in stores in the future. By the way, good point that the rocket has 2020 pieces;) Quote
matthewnolan Posted February 2, 2019 Posted February 2, 2019 ;) we matched it up with Saturn V's 1969 pieces. Quote
magicrulo90 Posted February 2, 2019 Posted February 2, 2019 It would be great to see it in the sky in 2020, so you would not need to add more pieces Quote
matthewnolan Posted February 2, 2019 Posted February 2, 2019 Would be perfect...but I'm sure we'll find a piece or two for addition if need be. Quote
matthewnolan Posted February 20, 2019 Posted February 20, 2019 We've posted an update on the nose cone, let us know what you think! https://ideas.lego.com/projects/5199f8dc-34ad-492a-91e2-0008c8e37f81/updates#content_nav_tabs Quote
