The new year has started again and again many assignments are ready and can already post some photos. May build 4 coaster cargo ships for a new customer. Because I did not get a fixed scale, but a budget and I just started building it. after three times with great failures, finally the shape of the bow found for this small scale. I found a Stud up hull really terribly ugly and finally opted for a 9, 2 stud wide snot hull that is sufficient. Think that the total model is approximately between 45 and 50 cm long and in scale somewhere between 1: 250 to 1: 280.

Nice progress Edwin. Looking forward to seeing the superstructure take shape

Thank you my good friend and make some progress.

Am a bit further with the little coaster ships and the superstructures are ready. the stickers are also ordered and are made again by my good friend Jaap Kroon, who really is the best sticker maker for your own buildings.
Now only the wheelhouses and some building and details and can deliver four boats again.

Thanks guys for the great reactions.

Today was the delivery of the four coaster boats for Vertom and the management was very pleased with the models and received a few follow-up assignments.
The best thing with episodes on customers of models is the astonished faces of the people that it is made of Lego and always produces a big smile and that still gives me satisfaction. Fortunately yesterday some quick studio photos taken.

Great work Edwin. This looks like it might be a good scale to try building my much missed Euplecta. One day.

Thanks Clive,

I was surprised that even a such small scale coaster will looks great in Lego. So your be loved Euplecta is possible in the small 1:240 scale.:wink:

I have the ship's drawings so have all the needed measurements. I'm definately going to give it a go one day.
