I couldn’t see this happening, especially given how hot comic book movies, especially Marvel, are. Granted that doesn’t always translate to merchandise sales... I’d certainly be bummed, as Superheroes is my main go to.

Yeah, sounds like the seller is just trying to whip up some frenzied panic purchasing from his customer base. Note that his emphasis is on supposed ending production of "Super Heroes Minifigures" as if that's the only thing that has ever come from the playtheme.
