Making tables in EB forum posts

Is there a way to make a table on EB? I've tried entering both HTML and BBCode tables, and neither appears to work (both show in the post as the code still, rather than a table)

There's probably an easier way that I don't know about, but I would make a table in Excel or a similar program, screenshot it, and deeplink the screenshot image. It's a clumsy solution, I know, but at least it would show up.

Make your table (and the post around it) in a writing software - I use Open Office - and copy/paste it into the EB posting window.

That's a copy/paste from excel; it works sort of. There's no way to get lines to help delineate items.

That actually worked - that's a C&P from Word. Thanks for the suggestion!
