[OL-FB] Acropolis gunboat no.2

Here's another gunboat built hastily by the colonists of Acropolis, due to the lack of marine personnel, it's manned by an army gunner, a local fisher and a native pearl diver.

Beware, mortar enthusiasts, it can fire at you beyond your range with its large gun mounted at the bow.

Also, isn't a boat that small going to be too manoeuvrable for a mortar to fire on?  

On the other hand, a boat that small, with a cannon that big; the recoil would push the boat the wrong direction!

It is an early "jet engine", the details have yet to be worked out!

But the guys at Acropolis didn't know that, they were a bunch of landlubbers and fishermen, they just wanted to hit the pesky raiders, and hard. They'll learn from their mistakes.

I agree with Kwatchi, the curved slopes here make a very nicely shaped hull! The cannon does look slightly overscale, but you can't fault the citizens enthusiasm right! Good luck to them!

Not if the mortar fire comes from its stern!  Mwahahahaha.  

Another great little gunner I worry you might need a bigger pearldiver to keep the rudder in the water due to that large caliber cannon.
