TomSkippy Posted December 2, 2018 Posted December 2, 2018 Location: Bastion License: Small Artisan After going a bit crazy, here's a much more historically accurate build. Johnny has a new leather jacket. Side note: the toughest part of this build was finding the stupid Plate 1x2 modified with handles (bricklink 3839)... took nearly an hour. C&C welcome as always. Build based on this image Spoiler Quote
Bodi Posted December 2, 2018 Posted December 2, 2018 Historically accurate indeed, especially the first photo. Nice build! Quote
dr_spock Posted December 2, 2018 Posted December 2, 2018 Nice build and keeping it within the BoBS era (mostly). Quote
Professor Thaum Posted December 2, 2018 Posted December 2, 2018 Really cool one ! The rendering of the spoiled puc is very successfull Quote
Bregir Posted December 3, 2018 Posted December 3, 2018 Lovely build all around. My favourite detail is the exposed roof rafter, but the process is depicted nicely too! And there is great marketing value in the first picture! :D Quote

Ayrlego Posted December 4, 2018 Posted December 4, 2018 I really like this one - actually I was looking into the tanning process myself recently for a planned build and I really like how you depict the process here. A nice clean build, well presented. Great job! Quote
TomSkippy Posted December 4, 2018 Author Posted December 4, 2018 @Roadmonkeytj presentation in the form of a base. Any more pieces or figures and it’s too much. @Ayrlego thanks... depicting leather is strange. AFAIK you can use cloth, brown tiles, or brown hair pieces. I’d be interested to see what you come up with if you build it! Quote
Elostirion Posted December 7, 2018 Posted December 7, 2018 That is really, really good. Seems rather accurate, nice minifig posing, and great scene overall. Looking forward to your next MOCs! Quote
