No, I'm not sure when it was published, I'm going to guess 2004-2006. Somewhere around there.

Well, I can definately tell you this book is not based off Saw. It's a story about a group of people trapped by this ruthless killer in a possessed house, you should read it.

I'm sure I've read some of Frank Perretti's books, when I was younger though, ones like The Tombs of Anak and Trapped at the Bottom of the Sea, along with a few more. I thoroughly enjoyed those books, I'll be sure to get House if ever I see it!
