Bodi Posted October 19, 2018 Posted October 19, 2018 The reinforcements requested by the Duke d'Ablette finally at the new world, a bit late it's true, but better late than never. The troops are composed of a company of cuirassiers and a company of infanterymen, all were directed to guard the settlements of Eltina. Le captaine Hautecloche conducting his men to the city gate. They were followed by a company of infantery freshly landed. Spoiler It seems that someone is wearing the wrong hat. @Legostone I'd like to ask you to help me to license these two units, they will be stationed at Eltina. Quote
Professor Thaum Posted October 19, 2018 Posted October 19, 2018 Excellent the spoiler !!! Great display, nice brideg, I'd always liked cavalry. Quote
merc Posted October 19, 2018 Posted October 19, 2018 Nice troops. I really like the cavalrymen. And I agree with Prof Thaum, the spoiler is good and funny. Quote
Kwatchi Posted October 19, 2018 Posted October 19, 2018 I really liked the look of the bridge. The stonework had some nice detail. May I suggest a single colour backdrop would improve your photographs? I unfortunately don't have a light box/lamp set-up, and simply use the camera on my cellphone, so my photos aren't great by any means; but I find a sheet of coloured poster board (which I bought at the dollar store) helps with the presentation. Ross Fisher Posted October 19, 2018 Posted October 19, 2018 Nice Curassiers. What regiment are they from? Planning on including more in my series, but mine wear bearskins. .. Quote

Glad you like it, in fact the spoiler was supposed to be part of the Fatu Hiva entry but I ran out of inspiration and couldn't finish the whole scene as I expected. Glad you like the bridge, and you are right about the photos, a better illumination and a decent background should do the job. On 10/20/2018 at 1:36 AM, Ross Fisher said: Nice Curassiers. And looking forward to the continuation of your series. Quote
