Larry Andersen Posted October 17, 2018 Posted October 17, 2018 (edited) Hi, Just checking in for the first time here. I had never received my email address confirmation post so I never knew I had actually been added. I was quite surprised when the next time I visited the site and saw the "Hello New Member" banner at the top. So then, here I am. I've been a Lego fan since the Expert Builder Technic series was released. Some time back in the 1970's. I still have a lot of 4.5V parts including a couple computer interface boards left over from that time. Then 9V came along and I had to upgrade everything, of course. Then came the RCS brick which luckily allowed me to still use my 9V motors. Then came Power Functions and a whole new acquisition of parts was needed. Now comes Power-Up. I got the Batman set and immediately saw the drawbacks. A limit of two motors, no user configurable screen layout, and only one size motor and battery pack. Lego is going to have to do a lot more work on this to make it worthwhile. So that's my 2 cents worth at the moment. More to follow elsewhere. Larry Edited October 17, 2018 by Larry Andersen Quote
