[MOC] The Monolith

In the middle of Technicland strange things were happening. Nobody knew why the pile of 152 5x11 LBG Technic Panels we’re starting to move but it couldn’t be good? Or could it?

The Monolith !

 

... or perhaps this could be called what do you do when you’re bored and have 152 LBG panels from your TC14 entry.

  Great.  But how will this push the future development of the Technic figs who were thought to be an evolutionary dead-end??

I'm a nerd, but I'd try to make a sword out of all those. I'd make a long chain of them 2 panels thick, line the the entire edge with technic plates, and then put cheese slopes up and down the whole thing to make an edge.

When I read something like "All hail to..." and term Monolith, perhaps B-model could be Stonehenge

I think that the 2001 monolith is black. You may need to buy all the panels in black to do an even better version.

Well Arthur C Clarke is very confused as this Monolith also isn’t 1 x 4 x 9 but instead is 1 x 2.333 x 5.133

I am affraid that those gear are not braced enough and the axles might also twist because all of the torque
