BaneShake Posted September 23, 2018 Posted September 23, 2018 I have just experienced what may be the worst quality error I've seen on a Lego minifigure I own. This smudging, which looks like how the print starts to go when using chemicals on a minifigure, happened purely because of contact with the back of a hairpiece. I've sent an e-mail to Lego's QA people, but sheesh. Has anyone else ever seen something like this happen before? Quote
TheBrickBuilder14 Posted September 23, 2018 Posted September 23, 2018 Ollie, I don't feel so good... Quote
JopieK Posted September 23, 2018 Posted September 23, 2018 Just contact service, they will replace it for you, it is licensed so they might ask you some extra stuff, but I'm sure they will work it out for you. I guess the quality control camera missed it :) Quote

Anonknee Muss Posted September 24, 2018 Posted September 24, 2018 Unfortunately @Whovastron is right to a certain degree. They can either send you a whole new minifigure but you won’t know which one it is, or you can ask for 100 VIP points (which gives you £5 to spend). If it was a piece that appeared in an actual set before this minifigure then they could have sent you a replacement but since this is exclusive you’ve only got the options above. Quote
MAB Posted September 24, 2018 Posted September 24, 2018 It looks more like a printing problem (part moving while black was wet) rather than a rubbing problem, as the red and white print has not been affected. Quote

Unfortunately, they told me can't replace it since they've retired the series and no longer carry the reserves to replace anything. I guess I'm going to have to browse Walgreens-type places, since they often have the CMFs longer than anyone else, and hope to find something, or just give in and bricklink it. Quote

Didn’t they give you like £5 free or something at all? Quote
