Brickmaster Posted March 31, 2008 Posted March 31, 2008 Now THAT is cool. Great concept, I wish they would've shown interior, or atleast cockpit, shots. Quote
Asuka Posted March 31, 2008 Posted March 31, 2008 Thank you for that cool find, zero1312! *y* It´s a fascinating MOC indeed, and it really looks like The-Librarian´s creating a wonderful word full of fantasy, in a little different style to all that (still great) steampunk work out there.... Here´s some more from his 'electropunk' folder: :'-) Quote
Faramir Posted March 31, 2008 Posted March 31, 2008 Wow, nice! Looks much bigger when you actually click on the thumbnails. *sweet* Like the electro-punk thing a lot, too. Is he the only one who has done something like that? --Faramir Quote
LuxorV Posted April 1, 2008 Posted April 1, 2008 Impressive *wub* ! It would seem a Black Fantasy creation, only with neon-green. Thanks for sharing this find, zero1312! LuxorV Quote
UFO Posted April 5, 2008 Posted April 5, 2008 (edited) Have you guys seen his Transformers? http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=236692 They're hella cool. I talked to him once on a TF fan site. He said he just studied the parts and transformations and stuff. The Librarian is one of the best builders I've ever seen. I should see if he's still at that TF site and invite him here. (Okay, I sent him a PM there.) Edited April 5, 2008 by UFO Quote
The Librarian Posted April 11, 2008 Posted April 11, 2008 And I've at last done something about it! Thank you for the invitation and thanks to everyone for their kind words! I've lurked around these boards for quite a while now and was very surprised to find my work being commented upon! This 'electropunk' thing came about mainly from a desire to do something steampunkish and a lack of brown pieces and propellers! The ships came first, the frigate and the pirate ship, that is, followed by the mecha and the spider-castle - which I am quite proud of, especially since it can stand perfectly well on its legs. The castle, incidently, does have a - slightly sparse - interior which I will eventually photograph, but everything's had to be packed away due to redecorating. Again, thank you all very much for taking the time to comment on my creations - I hope I'll be able to build equally good things in the future! *classic* Quote
Asuka Posted April 11, 2008 Posted April 11, 2008 Hello and welcome, The Librarian! *cry_happy* You´ll even find a second topic about your fine creations over here in our Pirate section! This 'electropunk' thing came about mainly from a desire to do something steampunkish and a lack of brown pieces and propellers! *tongue* Nevertheless you managed to add some pretty distinct creative charm to your work, a little similar to, perhaps, the designs you can find in Japanese RPGs like Final Fantasy and stuff like that, very well done. *thumbup* Quote

You have a truly original style in this creation, and is simply awesome. I'll be happy to see any interior it has. Will love to see future Moc's from you. Quote
