It looks so cool

I think I will try and build it, will find out when I see the parts-list. Hope I have what I need. Will there be building instructions?

Well, I think I am about as done as I can get with this in CAD.

I have all the parts/ sections done. They are all uploaded to Brickshelf. I have also upload a file for lower half of it, that shows how I connected the 2 drive motors, hips, and upper legs.

Now, if you build this piece by piece and follow the files exactly. You are looking at a grand total of 4812 pieces. By the time you build you own engine in the back of it and add a Speeder Bike rack with Speeder Bikes, you are well over 5000 pieces.

I plan on starting this after my wife and I move into our new house. And after I rebuild my whole Lego collection from the move. Hopefully by the end of summer, I will have started on it!!

Enjoy, Jamie

Well the new house is all done. Paint, carpet, roof, electrical, and plumbing, ect. And, let me let you, I am happy as hell, I have now more projects around here.

Took alot longer then expected!

We are moved and my whole Lego collection is put back together. I put each set in a quart or gallon storage ziploc bag and threw it in a box. I had 14 boxes of Lego sets. Just looking at all the boxes was overwhelming!! But, I got through it all. It was hard, but, I made it!

So, what does that mean? Time to start ordering pieces for my UCS AT-AT of course.

I have made 13 orders from Bricklink totaling about $350 for the feet, legs, and drive motors. In total, I order 2,288 pieces. Which is about half the total pieces in the model. The rest will be for the body and head.

I have received about half of the orders. When the rest of the packages arrive, hopefully this week. I will start building and posting pics. Providing Brickshelf is back up and running!

Stay tuned, Jamie
