Hobbythom Posted August 16, 2018 Posted August 16, 2018 Allright guys and gals. If you could own just one lego set, what would it be and why? For me it would be Ninjago City. I feel like I could build a broad range of things with it and if I get bored I'll just build the original again. Curious as to what your choices would be. Quote
Johnny1360 Posted August 16, 2018 Posted August 16, 2018 The new UCS Millennium Falcon of course. Quote
Vindicare Posted August 17, 2018 Posted August 17, 2018 10211 Imperial Flagship. It’s just too beautiful, it’s a great display piece. Quote

I've never seen it in person, but a ship is a good choice for display purposes Quote

AFOLguy1970 Posted August 19, 2018 Posted August 19, 2018 It would come down to the Galaxy Explorer. I wont ever again let one go. Quote

I got that one in either 1979 or 1980. A year ago, I finally saved enough to get a used one on Bricklink. There is no intention of parting with that one. 3 hours ago, Giantorange said: Unexpected gathering. Interesting build, great figs, looks great on display. This would be my #2, only to lose to the Galaxy Explorer by a narrow margin. Quote

Gathering the parts for GE at the moment, I may change my mind... Quote

Carefree_Dude Posted August 26, 2018 Posted August 26, 2018 1789 Unitron Star Hawk II. It's kind of an ugly set, with nothing really special about it, aside the fact that it was my first set ever and I've held on to it across dozens of moves and across the ocean twice. https://imgur.com/a/w1etJ Pictures of my original set. it's not in the best shape, but I was 4 when I got it. HawkLord Posted September 2, 2018 Posted September 2, 2018 Star Wars Deathstar 10188. My largest set to date. Really fun to build, looks great, and has a number of good minifigures (and I like their old-school look). Quote
