cartoondude Posted March 25, 2008 Posted March 25, 2008 Hey, does anyone know any drawing programs for the mac computer where i could design custom bodies and heads n' stuff for minifigs and print them out and glue them on or dare i say..... tape them on. thanks (wow i did it all in one sentence) Quote
SupremeCommmanderGrievous Posted March 25, 2008 Posted March 25, 2008 Try Photoshop, that is what I use. Quote
Hinckley Posted March 25, 2008 Posted March 25, 2008 I used to use Photoshop but I have since discovered the joys of Illustrator. It's far superior for torso design although Photoshop still does a good job. Quote
Faramir Posted March 25, 2008 Posted March 25, 2008 Unless I am ignorant of something like this, perhaps we should have on record the dimensions of torsos and such, much as we do Pirates' Sails. --Faramir Quote
Bobskink Posted March 25, 2008 Posted March 25, 2008 I also think that Illustrator would be far better for torso designs. For the dimensions, just scan a torso and you will have them, be sure that when you print you don't scale. Quote

We should have an index of templates. Most of the templates I use are other peoples, though. I'm not sure about re-posting them here. Quote

Thanks, I'm not exactly sure how you do it with the sails (I've only once ever posted in the pirates forum, and that was to input sail dimensions.) but maybe you could ask people for input for torso, arm, and other Lego appendage parts. Perhaps a pinned topic in Minifig Customization? :-P Or maybe now I'm just pushing my luck... --Faramir Quote

LuxorV Posted March 26, 2008 Posted March 26, 2008 I don't know about Mac versions of these programs, but I used to use Photoshop, later I started using CorelDraw (that's the program I use now). LuxorV Quote
