Chromeknight Posted July 30, 2018 Posted July 30, 2018 (edited) I am beginning work on a layout inspired by Cyril Freezer's minories. I don't have a laptop or desk machine to run bluebrick and fiddle around with geometries. I expect I'll be using modified PF points (stubby and 1/8circle). But I don't know what else I'll need in terms of half straights etc, to line up with the stud grid. Could a helpful person spend a couple of minutes on bluebrick and sketch up the approach point work? I'd be very grateful, thanks! Edited July 30, 2018 by Chromeknight Spelling errors Quote
zux Posted July 30, 2018 Posted July 30, 2018 I'm not good at LEGO trains yet, but found this information a while ago ago and it might be helpful: BlueBrick Track Schematic Library v.1.1 Update by Michael Gale, on Flickr Quote
Chromeknight Posted July 30, 2018 Author Posted July 30, 2018 Yes, that’s the parts library Michael Gale has created that one would use with bluebrick to do the planning. Ive done plenty of sketches and back of envelope calculations. But I’m not certain they’re right or that I’ve found the most efficient solution. Quote
knotian Posted July 30, 2018 Posted July 30, 2018 Take a look at 4DBrix for some other switch configurations. I have several and they are great. Ed Quote
supertruper1988 Posted July 30, 2018 Posted July 30, 2018 I used the nControl from 4DBrix and this is what I came up with: This used a bunch of the 4DBrix Modular switch parts and some R56 Curves. Here is the BOM: Quote
