LM71Blackbird Posted July 17, 2018 Posted July 17, 2018 (edited) A Trip to Jameston Shortly after Ralph Clutchington was appointed as Vice President to the Royal Society of Navigation and Discovery, he boarded the RSND's first official vessel. The RSND Dolphin was launching on her maiden voyage from Quinnsville and was bound for the RSND headquarters in Jameston. Trip to Jameston 1 by LM71Blackbird, on Flickr The voyage was remarkably smooth, which is something every landlubber like Ralph appreciates. Trip to Jameston 2 by LM71Blackbird, on Flickr The RSND Dolphin reached the Corrish Settlement of Jameston without incident. Ralph's first order of business was to visit the local harbor administration building. He had some important matters to attend to regarding some shipments from Quinnsville that would be arriving soon... Trip to Jameston 3 by LM71Blackbird, on Flickr ----------------------------------- Just a quick build showing Ralph reaching Jameston. The building will be licensed as a medium commerce in Jameston. C&C are welcome and appreciated! Oh, and the building will have a finished interior, but that will be featured in an upcoming build... Edited July 17, 2018 by LM71Blackbird Quote
Mesabi Posted July 17, 2018 Posted July 17, 2018 Great build Blackbird, and great to see the RNSD builds continuing. I must say though, I wish that 16x8 tiles came in transclear blue in real bricks Quote

Ayrlego Posted July 18, 2018 Posted July 18, 2018 Great building LM71, as I commented on the WIP, the diagonal doors are a real highlight for me. The way they change the shape of the building and the 'popped' roof give what is a relatively simple structure a very pleasing aesthetic. Also those wharves are great - I love that technique! Quote

I originally started off with a square building but it didn't quite look right. The roof and the wharf are a first for me, but you'll see them more often! Quote
