Hi all,

I know this subject has been discussed before but I'm looking for some guidance amongst all the conflicting advice.

I want to import decals to LDD for some custom models - I don't want custom decals only ones that you can buy the pieces for. I mainly want the parts that have computer / console / buttons decals. I've tried the guide on the LIF method but it doesn't seem to work.

I'm on windows 8, 64 bit.

Thank you.

Not a direct answer to your question (I would actually also be happy to know how to do that in LDD ;)) but I use Photoshop to do this with rendered (I use Bluerenderer) LXF scenes.

In LDD you can't add any brick or decal without "hacking" the software and then violating the EULA.
As you can read in the Section Rules, this topic is not allowed here.

Anyway, if you meant to render your work, you can add custom decals during this phase as some rendering software allow this (almost sure about Pow-Ray, maybe Bluerender too).

Are you referring to the stickers or the printed parts? The printed parts are already in LDD.
