Infected Ship (Black Fantasy)

So, I wanted to try something new, as usual. And I've not seen it done, but I like to think of the black fantasy as a biomechanical virus that takes over robots or anything. So I tried to build an infected ship. Tenticles and random veins, whatnot, and was also a first for me, using the inside out tires. New to me >:-)

I tried to integrate some elements I would have thought unintigrateable. Bionicle elements, such as the weapons near the back, the things I used on the engine, and the toa terrain crawler mask.

I really like how the engine on the right came out.

The left engine is supposed to be just going under infection. It is still the metallic grey color, and it's just developing the virus on top, although the innards are already completely taken over, shown by the random tentacles.

There is a pilot consumed in innards in the cockpit, but you can't see it, and I took no cockpit shots *wacko* Perhaps ill upload some later.

So, all in all, it is another expirament for me. I took quite afew hours getting some of the aspects just right, the main cockpit was a real challenge at first. *wacko*

This is my first time integrating many elements, aswell as in the black fantasy line. So, I hope you enjoyed. Comments and constructive critisizm are appreciated, alot :'-)

That´s wonderful, a very good idea and your use of Bionicle parts fits perfectly. The tentacles look really cool, and these

colorful Technic ribbed hoses´re a neat addition. Very nice! :'-)

Very nice, I like the look of it, especially the middle section. I'm not sure on the colours though, black fantasy is usually all black, I'm okay with it having other colours, but to me these seem to clash. The two side sections to me seem like a good idea that was undone a touch by the colouring, all black would look better I think. I really love the middle section though, great work on that, the random tentacles look very nice as well. I understand that its meant to look like the virus is taking over, but it gives the appearance that you didn't have other parts or had colour problems. Still, I really ike some aspects of it, do you plan to do more black fantasy, I would very much like to see another moc from you.

Thanks :-$ I think I will try to refine another ship sometime, as this was just a test. I want to use more bionicle, more tubes, and more tires, in my next one. When that will be, I am not entirely sure *wacko* If this gets a good rep I might be more inclined. ;-)

Great use of parts here and I love the shapes you've created. The use of bionicle parts is a great touch. I'm not sure about the green and purple but I understand the reason for it being there. Perhaps one day you'll make a fully black one for comparison. *sweet*

I for one like the colored tubes; they just seem like a blood system of the 'parassite'. You know, like veins and arteries that are blue and bright red.

And I really like the way the two sides of the ship show the progressive transformation after the infection!

Btw: I'm trying some Black Fantasy creation, too. It is nothing of this beauty, really. Anyway, you'll see it in next week ;-)

First of all, if you want to build something like it, go for it, I'd be honored to inspire someone :-D Also, yes, I just imagined it up. It all started because I wanted to use that front bionicle cockpit, then it transformed to me using inside out tires, then some tenticles out the back fit perfectly..

Thats right, I never had this in mind when I first started ;-)

And yes, the ribbed hoses were supposed to be veins of the parasite. If I build another one of these things, I really want to emphasize more veins in it *wub* I first played with lots of the ribbed hoses bursting out of the tires into a wing, but I just couldn't get it stable and working right.

I think I will do a double take on this, and try to build a bigger, better one, sometime. :-$
