ODA 401 Posted July 1, 2018 Posted July 1, 2018 (edited) Mission Designation: Op Gatsby Date: 06/30/18 Time: 2335 hours Location: Northern Border of Bandaud Objective: Capture known member of Shazir Cell; Gozon Borom It is late at night in Bandaud and the majority have gone to bed. Everything is normal as it should be, but that is about to change for a small apartment building. GBW Contract Mission by ODA 401, on Flickr An armored vehicle, looking like the type used by members of the military in that area, pulls up to the building. Out jump six men in civilian clothing, but carrying suppressed sub-machine guns and wearing Kevlar vests and nvgs. GBw Contract Mission by ODA 401, on Flickr They quickly set up a perimeter and stack up to the door. Victor One gives the signal and the breacher comes up, inserts his crowbar, gives a yank, and the team silently flood in through the open door. But Victor Two double-taps before he can fire. GBW Contract Mission by ODA 401, on Flickr GBW Contract Mission by ODA 401, on Flickr Victors One, Two, and Three continue to flow into the room while Victor Four stays out in the stairwell to provide rear cover. GBW Contract Mission by ODA 401, on Flickr The target is sleeping peacefully when suddenly he is rudely awakened by a masked man who grabs him and throws him out of his bed and onto the floor. Victor Two pulls out a pair of zip cuffs and proceeded bind them around the targets hands while Victor One covers him. GBW Contract Mission by ODA 401, on Flickr GBW Contract Mission by ODA 401, on Flickr Victors One and Two head out of the room with their package while Victors Three and Four search the room for evidence. After finding the target's laptop and smart phone, they head out the door. Victor Four takes a picture of the deceased assailant before heading out. sigpro Posted July 1, 2018 Posted July 1, 2018 Nice! The effect of the night vision camera gives an excellent environment. Good action and details. Where did you get the arms for the minifigs? Quote
paintballman Posted July 1, 2018 Posted July 1, 2018 You excecute the operation well. The night vision effect is nice but i think it hides most of the interesting details of the build Quote
ODA 401 Posted July 1, 2018 Author Posted July 1, 2018 @sigpro Thanks. The arms came from Crazy Arms. @paintballman Thanks. I do have a file with all of the pictures unedited. Quote
TheBeeze Posted July 3, 2018 Posted July 3, 2018 You have passed your mission. Congratulations! Judge Feedback: I liked what you did with the building but you sacrificed detail and structuring for the sake of portioning out the interior and the exterior spacing. It might have been wiser to only focus on the inside of the building using perspectives. Lighting was not that great for the interior shots. This does not take away from what you've done here, you definitely gave it a very solid effort and that should not be frowned at. Your building looks great and there is nice detail in some areas. The pictures have a nice setup just need a little better lighting. This one is a pass for me but it was on the line. Nice work. Long sequence here, but plenty of pics. I think the greenish hue on the exterior shots is great. But once inside the house, the pics become very difficult to see ANYTHING! I like your plan, to raid the house at night. But not being able to see all of the sweet details makes this very frustrating. But, it honestly looks like you tried to cram as many details as possible into this build, as well as any and all bricks you had. That tells me you gave it your all. Please contact me when you would like to use your prize! Quote
