Another great issue Drunknok! Excellent writing and great issues have been brought up by your paper. You missed taking a well deserved shot at the Eltina Courier though! Better get that done in the next issue. :pir-tongue:

Pff, I am above such childish squabbles. Or I forgot about it. Take your pick. :pir-grin:

Your talk about King's Harbour in the red had me checking the account sheets.... :P

And the talk of Cooke's tiny (private) residence had me looking for all those luxuries.

In both cases, i can only call:

"You are fake news!"

Amusing commentary on all things bobs.

- Colonel this cheap news pamflet mentions us, well not all of us, just the East company.

Nothing about your West company, captain?

- Nope, not about the North company, or the vague hint that we make up a battalion.

Lol, lazy reports there, what's the paper called?

- There is a smudge, but it appears to be VIC monthly

Never heard of it.

It might be fake news at times

All informations in the WTCM - apart from the two obvious "joke issues" - are factually correct.

Calling it "fake news" compares it to the likes of CNN and New York  Times - I do feel honoured!

"King's Harbour in the red"

Really? :P

Well...

The Great Ball did cost a lot of money, or did it not?

The local economy did not profit from it, or did it?

From an IC perspective - and nothing else matters for an IC newspapers - both of these thigns are true. The conclusion, from this point of view, is that King's Harbour is "in the red".

I also want to point out that King's Harbour is a settlement of Corrington (you might have noticed ). Corringtons main colour is red. As a figure of speech, King's Harbour is indeed "in the red".

You see, it is factually correct in two ways. Take your pick. :pir-grin:

Just about to notify that the Sea Rats are not at war with anyone... there are just some commercial disputes on few subjects, but nothing as serious as a war

Not yet...

Nowhere did the WTCM state that the SR are at war - just that they might be soon.

"Technically correct - the best kind of correct..."

You sound like if you can not believe I did my homework. The WTCM is a masterpiece of carefully dancing on the line! :pir_tong2:
