Caffeine Posted March 21, 2008 Posted March 21, 2008 (edited) Well, I decided on this model to focus on the interior more than the exterior. Here's the result. The roof lifts off to reveal second floor and bathroom. Second floor lifts off to reveal first floor. First floor lifts off to reveal two amazing green baseplates. (sorry for the dark orange, i keep running out of brown) (click on thumbnail) Edited March 25, 2011 by Caffeine Quote
Dragonator Posted March 21, 2008 Posted March 21, 2008 Very well done, a stunning interior. This must have taken some time (unless your like Sinner and just throw things together in one afternoon :-P ). I love the details, those trees are really awesome! *wub* The furnishings are really stunning though, with the box plants and TV's, an interesting bathroom, as much as a bathrooms can be interesting that is. Caffeine Posted March 21, 2008 Author Posted March 21, 2008 This was done over three weeks. I'm a busy man. Quote
Tacitus Posted March 21, 2008 Posted March 21, 2008 You make me look so lazy. All my interiors are empty. My Cafe Corner is a sad and desolate place. The little details, as simple as the cutting board in the kitchen, really show how much thought you put into it. I'm afraid I'm going to have to steal some of your ideas. Quote

Lt. Veers Posted March 21, 2008 Posted March 21, 2008 I love it! Especially how you used the piece from the first B-wing in the bathroom. Quote
Asuka Posted March 21, 2008 Posted March 21, 2008 That´s an amazing work, Caffeine, the house looks already beautiful and interesting from the outside, but the interior is sheer brilliant indeed, with an awesome amount of fine details. My favorite parts´re the bathroom and the kitchen - I really got hungry by only looking at it.... A cool work, with a lot of realistic and functional aspects. :'-) *y* And toothbrushing on! :-D Quote
goggleson Posted March 21, 2008 Posted March 21, 2008 *wub* WOW!! You must've spent alot of time and money on this! Quote
zouave Posted March 22, 2008 Posted March 22, 2008 Quite an eye-opener. *sweet* The interior looks great. Quote

Hinckley Posted March 28, 2008 Posted March 28, 2008 Awesome job on this. The interior detail is amazing. I really like the stuff you did in the kitchen, even though the faucets are a little off :-D . That tree outside is awesome as well and I really like the bathroom. This is a very unique style you've adopted here and it's truly your own. It's one of the few MOCs I've seen that insists on realistic interior detail and builds the house around that. Most MOCs put the detail on the outside and pair down the detail on the inside to make it fit into the space that the exterior leaves for it. I really enjoyed looking through the photoset! Thanks for sharing. *sweet* Quote
LuxorV Posted March 28, 2008 Posted March 28, 2008 A really unique and inspiring MOC *y* I'll need to study these techniques for the trees and the roof ;-) . LuxorV Quote

LuxorV I just have to say... good luck? xD The trees are awfully and seriously a pain in the rear, neck, eyes, AND head to make, I've made 10 of them now and I still consider it extremely difficult.
