[SR-FB] We need a bigger boat!

As the men rowed out to the ship anchored in the harbor one of them questioned 

"why are we dressed this way again?"

"we need to be dressed proper if we intend to procure a proper vessel" replied his mate

"And we wil procure it with a handfull of men?"

"thats the beauty of it ... Were dressed like officers they will think we are the new commanders that wont be on the ship till tomorrow!"

Absolutely fantastic! Color and shape is top notch! Also I am quite curious as to how you've built the excellent figurehead (are those croissants posing as horns or are they something else?)

Now you can start building the rest of it!

Thanks I tried techniques I was going to try in brick.  Im thinking the tubing wont take 5 hrs in brick though lmao. This is the same ship (had to rework the sides and deck) as In the planning thread lol so the rest does exist.  I wanted to make a end table size build ... The whole ship takes the coffee table lol.

Thanks ... I will try to get an exploded breakdown with some part names might take a few days but Ill get it lol I'll tag you.  Admittedly I built the ship first then chopped everything past the mast off and reworked ... My original plan was to show the interior but that didnt work so well ... So its just a flat brick wall for now.

Great work on that bow of that vessel! Can‘t disagree that flextubes take a while to shape, but not hours! My recent testship I posted in the Shipwrights Guild Hall only took about 20 minutes to get the bow to look right :D

... I need to find my minotaur head, that figurehead is too excellent to not steal :D Looking forward for the whole thing!

Thanks lol this was rev 3 lol I would get part shaped right then try to connect the "arm" elements and the tube would turn into a zig zag lol also there was some trial and error with legths lol.  I feel like the next will go quicker.

 

Oddly enough (I started building two months ago, my second LDD build) but I noticed @Bregir had the minotaur on the last ship he posted just the other day ... Great minds think alike

So I had a moment so I got the parts for you ... I took advantage of LDDs ability to paint any color.  Ive only seen the minotaur in dk drown in brick form.

Great job on the bow.  They are dressed for success. 

If you're not totally pure, a bit of metal wire inside the flex tube can help shape them.

As far as the story...  I needed something that sounded realistic as to why the rats would be obtaining a class 7 vessel lol
