Hi everybody!

Subblaffer here, from Holland.

After roughly 25 years of not playing with Lego my mother came visit me and she brought my old big box of totally unorganised Lego!
That was two years ago and I immediately started rebuilding the latest thing I could remember.
As a kid I always built amusement rides with Lego Technic, so I decided to make this ride: The Discovery (picture below).
I ordered the new XL motors, because my old ones, from the 80's... wel they still worked, but almost powerless... :)

So, I had some fun building this two years ago and I thought of building The Turbo Polyp / Octopus / Spider.
I also built that one as a kid, but very basic; 4 arms, no moving crosses / seats and a fixed lift for the head.

Then I saw this guy's MOC.
INSANE!!

So I'm now trying to build my version of this ride.
Trying... just a technical noob rediscovering an old hobby... :)

Hello Subblaffer and welcome to Eurobricks!

Don't we all now the way you went through?
So now, that you're hooked again you chose an absolute stunning (but not yet finished) MOC!
You are going for the Champions League directly! Brave!

But even a smaller MOC will do. Inspiration is good, but don't be disappointed with what you can create as a beginner.

Now I want to see photos of your wip.
