i want to make some Wild west MOCS but i only have the sand crawler which has at least 4 different shades of brown so my Wild west house looks kinda weird does any body have any ideas- besides bricklink were i can get brown peices If not brown then grey, if i use grey i could make an outpost for my 3 union soldiers :'-( i've been thinking of buying another castle and make it into a WW union outpost. just tell me any ways i already have come up with this.

  • ebay
  • bricklink

As far as Wild West (WW) figs go in this case I'd say your bes bets are eBay and Brcklink. That is going to be where you find the biggest selections. Bricklink will the the most constant price and tends to be fair for the demand since the supply is always shrinking.

Hm. Are we talking about World War or Wild West here? 8-|

Seeing as he's mentioned Union soldiers, I presume he's talking about Wild West.

As for buying brown pieces, bricklink would be your best bet ;-)

I suggest buying the Viking Fortress Against the Fafnir Dragon:

It's a cool set, and has lots of reddish brown pieces. It wasn't released that long ago, so you shouldn't have much trouble finding a copy for relatively cheap.

If you don't have enough brown for a fort but have enough white, you could always do tents instead. This was a part of my union camp scene:

I used click hinges and plates for the "roof."

do you think i could just use a flat top of the tent instead,i don' have to many hingy peices, now i have to dig up all my white peices ;-) .

Well, it's lego so you can do whatever you want to with it. :-P You wouldn't have to use too many hinged sections to hold it together, at most 2 or 3.
