Zzz Posted March 17, 2008 Posted March 17, 2008 Hi there! I got my Rebel Speeder a few weeks ago (for less than 10€ :'-) ) and decided to build it last evening while watching a movie that got more and more boring.. I simply love the minifigs (better than standard grin) and guns (soo legoish!), guess it is a fair price (compared to the 10€ I spent on 7110 9 years ago - definitely!), but the speeder staid complete for less than 2 minutes. I cannot deal with EU stuff, so I decided to turn it into a Rebel Ground Transport from the Massassi Outpost that you can see here. I used pieces from the original set only, and I made it in 5 minutes... Also I took the pics with the cell (not having a camera), so please be gentle on me.. :-$ In my opinion it works pretty well, so well I actually thought that TLC had something like this in mind as an alternate model for all the New Hope Fans! Comments welcome! : ) Quote
Trudop561 Posted March 18, 2008 Posted March 18, 2008 Lol nice transport speeder. How many figs can you put in this? Quote
Lt. Col. Thok Posted March 18, 2008 Posted March 18, 2008 Very nice! How many pieces were left over? Quote
Zzz Posted March 18, 2008 Author Posted March 18, 2008 Very nice! How many pieces were left over? thanks a lot for the comments, guys! It can fit a driver and 4 minifigs (or Han Solos reward for leading the Empire to Yavin 4 :-| ) and consists of 26 pieces (original model has 58 pc.). Quote
Asuka Posted March 18, 2008 Posted March 18, 2008 A nice work, simple yet very neat and clever. *y* Quote
ZoL Posted March 19, 2008 Posted March 19, 2008 (edited) Nice job, nice way to use the peices and it looks realistic to the movie too, but is that Indy back there checking out (or working on?) a x-wing? *Sarry, had too ask that* Edited March 19, 2008 by Lord_Sylp Quote
