SirNadroj Posted March 16, 2008 Posted March 16, 2008 Possible Spoiler Warning Hi! I've had this done for some time now, but the bowling pin pieces I needed just arrived. So here it is: The Bowling Alley, from the final scene of "There will be Blood". If you've seen the film, you know what's going on, but I don't want to leak any spoilers, so I won't go into detail. MAJOR SPOILER WARNING: "I'm finished." http://i181.photobucket.com/albums/x222/sirnadroj/3-42.jpg So there you have it. Feedback's appreciated! Quote
Faramir Posted March 16, 2008 Posted March 16, 2008 Likin it a lot! Haven't seen the film yet, but it looks really good for that time period. I especially like the curves of the alley edges-- very smooth, and very natural. Nice job! Quote
Mr. Builder Posted March 16, 2008 Posted March 16, 2008 Nice, *wub* the pins. Now only if that were a set... Quote
Batbrick Posted March 17, 2008 Posted March 17, 2008 Wonderful job here Sir Nadroj, excellent recreation of that scene. I love the milkshake talk just before it :-D I love the way the bowling pins and bowling area in general looks, brilliant moc! To the Bricksignal! >:-) Quote
iamded Posted March 17, 2008 Posted March 17, 2008 That is one sweet bowling alley! Haven't seen the movie, but man! That is really nice! *sweet* *y* ~Peace Quote
Erdbeereis Posted March 17, 2008 Posted March 17, 2008 That is fantastic! It looks so smooth and the colors are great. I especially like the pins. You should make a whole bowling complex with like 20 lanes and a snack bar! :-D Quote
SirNadroj Posted March 18, 2008 Author Posted March 18, 2008 Thanks for the feedback, guys! :'-) That is fantastic! It looks so smooth and the colors are great. I especially like the pins. You should make a whole bowling complex with like 20 lanes and a snack bar! :-D Thanks! But there are only two lanes in the movie.... ;-) Remember, this is based on "There will be Blood". ;-) Quote
Asuka Posted March 18, 2008 Posted March 18, 2008 Simply a marvelous work, pretty clever in design from its conception and wonderful executed as well. *sweet* Quote
casewindu Posted March 21, 2008 Posted March 21, 2008 brilliant design Sirnadroj (not the first time either *sweet* ) I love that newish style that everyone is using of the lego legs for structural designs, really clever. One question do you keep all of the mocs you make? Quote
WhiteFang Posted March 21, 2008 Posted March 21, 2008 Great design! Haha, can e mini-figs bowl?? *sweet* Quote
SirNadroj Posted March 24, 2008 Author Posted March 24, 2008 Thanks for the feedback! Greatly appreciated as always ~ always happy to hear that you're pleased with my work! *sweet* One question do you keep all of the mocs you make? No. I try to keep my favorites intact, like Mrs. Lovett's Meat Pies; Pirelli's Elixir; Fort Brimstone; etc, but I'll eventually pick away at them for pieces for current MOCs until they are no more. :'-( But that's the fun of building LEGO, I guess. One day you can have a mass murder barber, and the next a greedy oil tycoon. :-D ;-) Quote
