Leonardo da Bricki Posted May 8, 2018 Posted May 8, 2018 CAMPAIGN 6: Toohati - Amry Base "HOTEL" Studica E8 Under the cover of darkness, and amid the distraction of other raids, a small force of Toohati soldiers assaulted the army base objective designated "Hotel." Intelligence from the Servants of Freedom has designated this base as a possible storage site for nuclear weapons in transit. As such, this raid may or may not successfully capture any of these terrifying weapons. However, the results are still positive: either a piece has been taken off the game board, or a location be scratched from the list... [GBW-CP6] Assaulting "Hotel" "Command, Hotel has been found, with no one at the front desk." [GBW-CP6] Assaulting "Hotel" [GBW-CP6] Assaulting "Hotel" "Command, we're in the penthouse suite!" [GBW-CP6] Gaining Entry... [GBW-CP6] The Goal "We'll be sure to leave a positive review of this place..." __________________________________________________________________________________________ Hope you guys like the different styles of building here, I had a lot of fun with the mini vehicles, even if the tank doesn't have the right proportions. Tezclatipoca Posted May 9, 2018 Posted May 9, 2018 Good micros ! And the photography is nice. Not too dark, we can see the action coming. Good job ! Quote
paintballman Posted May 14, 2018 Posted May 14, 2018 It's always a good idea the use of microscale for show large action scenes. Good work! Quote

TheBeeze Posted May 29, 2018 Posted May 29, 2018 You’ve been awarded (5) points. Judges’ comments… Okay this was a very cool concept. No one has yet to do a microscale build to show the battlefield from this perspective, so you got some originality points there. I am not sure if this build meets the 32x32 requirement as I can't see all of it too well. 1. It's very very dark - I know you were going for a night effect here but it was difficult to see. 2. There isn't a real shot that shows me the entire build, it looks like there are 2 builds here so I'm not going to dock you for the requirement since you doubled up. Please try and be mindful of that in the future. The microscale stuff is pretty cool and from what I could see really setup the impression of things. Nice job and creativity, just give us more to see next time. I really enjoyed the micro builds, very creative. My concern is you have 2 separate builds here, along with a questionable overall size; not quite sure if there was a complete 32x32 total build area. The darkened pics were a risk, they always are, but you need to be sure there is still somewhat of a lightsource in the background so you can still see what is being photographed. Build wise, I thought the micro stuff was great, but felt that the minifig scale was lacking. Be Sure to Update Your AARs. Thanks for playing! Quote
